“Legacy: Saving Lives beyond the Horizon” tells the captivating story of Jasmine Leonce, a National Maternity Speciality Advisor to NHS England who provides clinical leadership and support to NHSE and the Maternity Safety Support Programme. Jasmine, a Consultant Obstetrician with a special interest in Obstetrics and Fetal Medicine, has worked in various capacities at the East and North Hertfordshire NHS Trust since 2011. She was the first Black, Female Maternity Improvement Advisor (Obstetrics) to be appointed by NHS England.

This documentary highlights the disparity women face in maternal care in the UK, including the reality of mental health challenges, and showcases the positive impact and contribution that women have made in leadership.
